Geek Dad Update

Well, the news coming out of Wall Street perhaps makes it an inappropriate time to have an addition to the family, but still, I’m very happy to announce that my second daughter is finally at home as of yesterday, doing very well and already 3.5kg a week before her original expected date.

Thanks again for all the kind comments on that first post.

It’s great to hear about how well your second daughter is doing. :)

Think she’s going to be iron-willed? She was ready to get out of her cramped quarters before she was made to do so.

Our daughter (now 2) has had a strong personality since before she was born – She was breech and refused to flip herself back upside down, despite two months of exercises which were supposed to encourage her to do so. In the end, my wife had to have a Cesarean section.

By the way, I’m a new reader of your site. 만나서 반갑습니다.

Hope everything else is also well in your life.

    Take care, eh?

Thanks everyone (and nice to meet you too Alex!). It’s nice to have her with us, although I’m already sorely tempted to give her back to the nurses at the hospital at nights…zzz…

    David,

thanks, and sorry I didn’t reply earlier. She might struggle with the kimchi having no teeth and all, but I can assure she’s getting more than enough via her mother!

    bulgasari,

thanks, although almost too well. She’s invariably bright-eyed and bushy-tailed from 10pm to 3am, and cries if we don’t give her lots of attention then. She needs parents with your kind of hours really!
